Socotra truly is one of the last frontiers in the modern age of travel. Arriving in this remote paradise and immersing yourself into her breathtaking nature feels like setting foot on another planet! After all, there's a reason Socotra has been dubbed "The most alien place on Earth"! A majority of all species in Socotra are endemic, looking like nothing you've ever seen before. I had a BLAST during my first trip to Socotra, swimming around in crystal clear waters, hiking virtually untouched trai
THE GIANT SAND DUNES
Welcome to Socotra! Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be greeted and assisted through immigration and baggage collection. Once ready, the adventure begins! We'll drive to the "Arher" area on the eastern side of the island, where towering sand dunes and a stunning beach await. The journey itself is incredibly scenic, so keep your cameras handy!

THE HOQ CAVE
We'll start by visiting "Ras Arsel," the easternmost point of Socotra. This spot offers a breathtaking view of where the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean meet.
Next, we'll drive to "Hoq" Cave, the largest cave in the Middle East! The hike to the cave entrance takes about two hours, then 30 minutes of exploration. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can unwind on the beach near our campsite—but I highly recommend the Hoq Cave adventure!

THE NATURAL POOL
Today we head to the protected area of "Homhil," home to an abundance of Socotra’s endemic plants, including the famous Dragon’s Blood Tree. Here you'll enjoy a stunning viewpoint with a natural swimming pool, offering spectacular views of the Arabian Sea.
From there, we’ll continue to "Dihammri," a marine protected area perfect for snorkeling. This is one of Socotra’s richest coral reefs and is home to a variety of endemic marine species.

THE INDIAN OCEAN
Today we go to the mountains of "Momi" to visit the famous "Wadi Kelisan." This hidden gem is ideal for swimming in its natural freshwater pools. A short 20-minute walk offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley below.
Then, we’ll enjoy a picnic before off-roading through scenic valleys to reach the picture-perfect sand dunes of "Zahek." After exploring the dunes, we’ll drive to our campsite along the shores of the Indian Ocean.

THE DRAGON’S BLOOD FOREST
Start the day with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean before heading to "Digub" Cave. This cave overlooks several traditional villages.
Next, we'll make our way to the "Dicksam Plateau" and "Shebahon" viewpoint. This area is home to a vast number of Socotra’s iconic Dragon’s Blood Tree. We’ll take in a breathtaking view of "Daerhu Canyon," known for its stunning landscapes and unique rock formations.

SPEND THE NIGHT WITH A CAVEMAN!
Today, we’ll explore the western part of the island.
We’ll visit Socotra’s famous caveman, who has lived in the same cave where he was born for over 60 years! He will share fascinating stories and give us insight into his unique way of life, living entirely off the land. You'll even have the chance to spend the night in his cave—just like Dude Abroad did! A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Overnight in the caveman’s cave OR our campsite, your choice!
A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN
In the morning, our drivers will take you to the port of "Qalansiyah", where you'll board a local fishing boat. We’ll sail to the remote "Shuaab" Beach—one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Here, you’ll have time to swim in the crystal-clear waters and walk on the powdery white sand.
During the boat ride, keep an eye out for marine life—you may spot Spinner Dolphins!
After our beach adventure, we’ll return to Hadibo, the island’s main city.
